What is a feeder light?
A feeder light is an effective tool that hunters can use to observe game while hunting. The green LED light allows you to see the game better when it is at the feeding ground. And the light is green precisely because it disturbs the animals less than white light or light in other colours. When the light is first set up, it can scare the game a little, but the animals get used to it. To help the animals get used to it, the light at the feeding grounds should be kept on every day.
Once the animals get used to the feeder light and feel safe, the light will increase your chances for a successful hunt. The light gives you a much better view of the animals at the feeding ground. And if the right animal comes by and you’re sure you want to take a shot, the light allows you to pinpoint your shot – and that can make the hunt more successful in the end.
Several light models come with a smart dusk sensor that automatically turns on the light at sunset and turns it off again at sunrise. This means you don’t have to worry about turning the feeder light on and off manually. The light also comes with a dimmer that makes it easier to adjust the amount of light, so you reduce the risk of scaring away game. The feeder light is also easy to set up, and can be mounted on a stand above the feed spreader, for example, or somewhere else where it suits you.
