Lightning cable charging and syncing speed
How quickly do you want your mobile phone or tablet to charge and/or sync? In order for charging to go as fast as possible, the cable must be able to provide at least as many amps (A) as the device (e.g. mobile phone) can receive.
The syncing speed is determined by the amount of data that can pass through the cable per second (GB/s). The more data it can transfer per second, the faster syncing will be.
Lightning cable length
The lightning cable length you need depends on how you want to charge or sync your iPhone or iPad. If you want to use your mobile phone or tablet while the cable is plugged in, you should choose a longer cable. This allows you to move freely without the cable becoming taut. Otherwise, a shorter cable is fine. Choose a length based on your needs and preferences.
MFi Certification
MFi certification stands for “Made for iPhone/iPod/iPad”. This certification means that the product has been tested and approved by Apple, and you can be sure that the cable is safe to use.
