Biltema Foundation donates 2.5 million SEK to Doctors Without Borders

Biltema Foundation is proud to announce a donation of 2.5 million Swedish kronor to the vital work of Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, MSF) in Ukraine and other crises around the world. This donation is an expression of our deep belief in the importance of continuing to support the organizations that are at the forefront of the world’s crisis hotspots, particularly important following the recent tragic event where a Doctors Without Borders office in Ukraine was bombed.

"Our donation to Doctors Without Borders reflects Biltema Foundation's commitment to humanitarian support and solidarity with those hardest hit by conflicts and disasters," says Adelina Voci, spokesperson for Biltema Foundation. "In a time when media coverage is not as strong, it is more crucial than ever that we continue to provide our support to the organizations that stand by the side of the most vulnerable, regardless of the circumstances."

Doctors Without Borders has been active in Ukraine at various times since 1999. Today, Doctors Without Borders is working to provide healthcare and donate supplies and training to hospitals treating people affected by the war. Their tireless efforts to provide care under the most challenging conditions are both inspiring and crucial.

"We are incredibly grateful for Biltema Foundation's generous contribution. This support will make a significant difference to our work in Ukraine and in other crises we are involved in. The needs are enormous worldwide, and every contribution saves lives," says Ida Bah, fundraising manager for Doctors Without Borders in Sweden.

Through this donation, Biltema Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable in the world and encourages other organizations and individuals to do the same. Together, we can make a real difference.
